
Roisum Elite Sales and Marketing was originally formed in August of 1980 as Roisum Food
Service Sales. John Roisum purchased the foodservice division from a local broker, where
at the time he was Vice President and a member of their board of directors. With an
emphasis on customer service, hard work and strong ethics, Roisum Food Service Sales
became a well-respected broker in the State of Minnesota.
The foodservice industry is ever changing. In order to remain one of the leading participants
in this industry, it is important to stay on top of these changes and trends. One trend that
was becoming evident was the number of companies merging and expanding to become stronger.
Roisum Food Service decided it was time to expand their ethics and philosophies to the Dakotas
and in 1995 a Dakota division was formed.
In continuing with the idea of growth, Roisum Food Service merged with Elite Marketing of Iowa
and Nebraska in 1999, to form Roisum Elite Sales & Marketing. We currently service manufacturers
and customers in 5 states, which are Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.
In order to become well rounded, Roisum Elite Sales and Marketing saw the importance of being
involved in the disposable side of the business. And in 2000, acquired Jared Marketing,
a successful non-foods broker.
Throughout the years, Roisum Elite Sales & Marketing has grown to be one of the largest foodservice
agencies in the Midwest. Known for their high level of customer service, hard work, strong ethics
and ability to adapt and change as the industry dictates.
